Hi all,
As we head into the home stretch of 2024, we’re thinking about just that: home. Maybe you’ve welcomed family for Thanksgiving, are heading to your hometown for the holidays, or are decorating your space for the season. However we celebrate, the end of the year invites us to embrace all things cozy, nostalgic, and homey.
At Issue Media Group, we’re reflecting on home in the communities we serve—where “home” means different things to different people. For some, securing a safe, attainable, healthy home is a growing challenge. For others, their home community’s narrative is misunderstood or misrepresented.
Amid these challenges, our mission remains clear: to report on these issues by listening to community voices, partnering with local organizations, and highlighting solutions that offer a brighter future.
This newsletter spotlights stories that reflect this work, showcasing the power of journalism to drive change and empower communities.
Thank you for your support. We couldn’t do it without you.
Looking forward to a new year of partnerships,
Hayley Roberts
