Issue Media Group, in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, have launched Michigan Nightlight, an online source of solutions, news, and inspiration for those who are working to positively impact the lives of Michigan children.
As reported by Matt Roush at CBSDetroit.com.
The publication aims to spotlight successes in improving outcomes for vulnerable children. Michigan Nightlight also will share the visions and viewpoints of the state's most effective nonprofit leaders.
"Michigan Nightlight profiles area programs and leaders; encouraging readers to ponder change, take action, make a connection, question a norm, learn from fellow professionals, or applaud the good work being done in our state," said Paul Schutt, publisher and co-founder, Issue Media Group.
The Michigan Nightlight will shine a light on some very impressive, necessary and innovative work. Through this publication, both the Kellogg Foundation and Issue Media Group hope to bring attention to the needs of Michigan's children and share solutions that Michigan communities are cultivating.
"At the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, we are guided by the belief that all children should have an equal opportunity to thrive," said Sterling Speirn, president and CEO, W.K. Kellogg Foundation. "Issue Media Group has developed a robust online resource for those working on behalf of children, which brings information about people, programs and bright spots together in one place."
