Kate Roff is an award-winning freelance writer and journalism educator. She is the managing editor of Metromode and Model D, where she leads teams of journalists and photographers in community reporting and advises Issue Media Group as part of the Editorial Council. Hailing from Australia originally, Kate has worked in print and online media for over 20 years in Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica, and the USA, and she has conducted academic studies in media and politics. She is also a Oakland University lecturer specializing in practicing and teaching solutions journalism.
