Over the past few years, the Nonprofit Journal Project has evolved to highlight various points of focus, and most recently we partnered with the Michigan Health Endowment Fund to shine a spotlight on health nonprofits working to solve workforce shortages and related challenges. In this phase, the series has shined a light on
how doulas are improving birth equity in Muskegon County,
culturally relevant home care for older Chinese Americans, and a range of programs addressing shortages of
social workers,
nurses,
EMTs, and
behavioral health providers.
The Nonprofit Journal Project will continue to deliver the stories of nonprofits, not only helping bring attention and resources to the sector but also providing a space for shared learning. Stay tuned to see where we go next.
