For the past three years, our Voices of Youth series has helped amplify the voices of young residents.  The series began as an effort to capture the youth perspective and narrative during the COVID-19 response to recovery.  Since then, the series has evolved and expanded to include the voices of youth in other IMG communities.

Doing More Together ... Our work with FlintBeat

Flint Beat and Flintside are partnering to strengthen the local media landscape in Flint. We are focusing on shared business development opportunities. We believe exploring programs with clients collaboratively provides more journalism capacity in Flint. We have received significant praise from local foundations that are excited we are partnering up.

Forming Solutions Journalism Collaborations

The Solutions Journalism Network, a nonprofit organization committed to transforming journalism and giving all people access to news, Local Media Project was launched in 2019 to strengthen and reinvigorate local media ecosystems by catalyzing and supporting sustainable solutions journalism-oriented collaboratives.
