Dedicated housing coverage drives awareness and action
IMG publications like Model D and Metromode have partnered with local housing partnerships to provide continuous coverage of issues related to housing. And Southwest Michigan's Second Wave is reporting on housing issues in that region, thanks to a coalition of funders.

In Model D, we’re partnering with the Detroit Regional Housing Partnership, which is coming together across sectors and focus areas to strengthen Detroit’s housing ecosystem, improve housing stock, promote homeownership, and advance racial justice. With additional support from the McGregor Fund, this coverage will also focus on homelessness and potential solutions.
Zooming out just a bit, Metromode is partnering with the Oakland County Regional Housing Partnership for a similar series that, so far, has taken a look at the growing problem of housing affordability; the potential for housing to advance economic, health and education issues; and how homelessness is a challenge even in a county known for its prosperity.
And across the Mitten in Southwest Michigan’s Second Wave, the A Way Home series is made possible by a coalition of funders including Kalamazoo County, the city of Kalamazoo, the ENNA Foundation, and the Kalamazoo County Land Bank. A Way Home has covered innovative tiny home developments, compelling personal stories, and how local governments are working toward better housing strategies.
